My Jeweled Steel business is known for wall crosses and I enjoy using the gifts God has given me to work on flame-painted steel home décor. I'm also developing a passion for larger-scale steel sculptures and other works of art and I'm in demand to produce Christian sculptures for private collections and for public display.
"Three Nails" is the latest of my steel sculptures. Some five-foot editions are installed at homes in Dallas, Texas and a 12-foot "Three Nails" has been commissioned to be a permanent fixture in The Coming King Sculpture Garden in Kerrville, Texas. The development project will construct a prayer garden, museums and several Christian sculptures on a large hillside at the intersection of two highways. It's getting a lot of media attention, as it plans to erect a 77'7" steel cross at the peak of the hill. I am so honored, humbled and excited to know my work will be among other amazing Christian sculptures, to be seen by millions of people in such a symbolic and spiritual environment.
The "One Nation Under God" Star of David is one of the Christian sculptures that is most thought provoking. The cross of this steel sculpture is made of 613 nails that are welded, or grafted onto the star to represent the laws of the Torah.
The three-foot original is one of my favorite steel sculptures and it inspired a six-foot "One Nation Under God" to be created for the foyer of Promiseland Church in Austin, Texas. Some of the other Christian sculptures I built is a 14-foot flame-painted sanctuary cross and a 10-foot stainless steel and rusted carbon steel outdoor cross for Chase Oaks Church in Plano, Texas.
